I’m so excited to start my 40th season calling games for ESPN. What an opener as #1 Kansas meets Michigan State in Indianapolis on Tuesday. I can’t wait to call the game with Dan Schulman.

Meanwhile college football’s playoff picture is clearing up. Alabama pitched a 29-0 shutout at LSU to move closer to the top seed. Notre Dame won at Northwestern to move closer to the postseason. Clemson put up 77 on Louisville. Michigan and Georgia had impressive wins to open some eyes.
In the NFL, the Rams fell from the unbeaten ranks. The Saints moved to 7-1 by knocking off the last remaining unbeaten.
Tennis saw a new star shine. Russian youngster Karen Khachanov had a great week winning the Paris Masters. He beat Novak Djokovic, Alexander Zverev, Domenic Thiem and John Isner in an incredible week.
